StitchVision Technology

An enlightened way to preview stitches before making them. Using intelligent light projection, StitchVision Technology provides the ability to preview, audition, and edit designs and stitches directly on fabric. The enhanced projection area measures an outstanding 8” x 5” (127 x 203 mm) — more than 2.5 times larger than the current XP series machine — and now extends from 90° to 180°. Operational in both sewing and embroidery modes, it enables real-time editing within the projection area, includes a square for angles and a circle for echo stitching, and projects an illuminated grid for easy-to-follow precision. Projects in one of 16 color options for clear, easy-to-see resolution on any fabric.

Buttonhole Preview

A first in the category and exclusive to Brother. The Aveneer EV1 features the unique convenience of Buttonhole Preview. This innovative feature uses the powerful projector to preview the style, vertical or horizontal placement, and spacing of buttonholes. It’s a real game-changer for garments

Dual-Tip Stylus

For more accuracy than ever before, the included Dual-Tip Stylus lets you easily make adjustments to stitches directly on fabric, choose different stitches, or preview background colors. The fine tip is ideal for use on the LCD display and provides the ability to select, move, or enhance projects with precision.

Large 10.1” Capacitive LCD Touchscreen

The control center of the Aveneer EV1 displays more than 16.7 million color combinations with adjustable brightness for comfortable, strain-free viewing. For Disney enthusiasts, the Aveneer EV1 includes 217 Disney character patterns — 13 additional modern and 6 new vintage Mickey Mouse designs, one new Pooh and Princess design, and two each from Pixar and film designs. These designs are built into the machine and ready to stitch from day one.

Voice Guidance Feature

When activated, this feature provides a gentle, audible heads-up about next steps and offers guidance throughout the lifecycle of design projects. Alerts include thread change notifications and project completion. Designed to facilitate easier learning, it eliminates the need for users to rely on the LCD display or to struggle with reading smaller type. Available in a choice of voices in 6 languages including English, French, and Spanish.

 

Quiltbroidery

With five options of two-color quilting sash designs, it’s easy to create a variety of eye-catching, colorful borders and quilting patterns, including easy-to-connect two-color designs. The auto-split designs are further enhanced with five hexagon shapes for additional creativity, plus single or triple stitch options for sash quilting stitches that stand out on every project.

Edge-to-Edge Quilt Feature

Eliminating the need for a long arm, this feature makes it possible to complete quilt tops on the Aveneer EV1 — even with a 10” x 10” magnetic hoop. With 15 patterns to choose from and easy-to-follow instructions that guide you through calculations, rows, and rehoopings, this opens up an entirely new category of quilting projects on a flatbed machine.

ISR Intelligent Stitch Regulator

Intuitive infrared technology keeps stitch lengths even by adjusting the timing of the needle to match the speed of the fabric being fed through the machine. The ISR operates in one of three modes: Continuous, Intermittent, and Basting. Its height can be adjusted easily in the settings, while the curved design of the included feet — Regular, Echo, and Open-Toe — keeps the fabric flowing effortlessly.

ISR Edge Detection System

The Edge Detection System provides options for free-motion stitching — ideal for quilt projects of any size. Working alongside the ISR Intelligent Stitch Regulator, it gives you precise control over every pass across the quilt surface.

Picture Play Embroidery Function

Elevating personalization to soaring new levels, the Aveneer EV1 uses AI technology to transform photos or images into thread art — directly on-screen. With a choice of ten embroidery conversion functions, the Picture Play Embroidery function grants users the ability to effectively “paint with thread.” Use the free My Design Snap App to transfer an image from your mobile device directly to the Aveneer EV1, where the Picture Play Embroidery Function converts it into thread art.

My Design Center Software

Brother’s legendary built-in software has been elevated for enhanced personalization and customization with the Aveneer EV1. For embroidery projects, there are 54 decorative fill patterns with ten-key input for sizing and improved design editing. A numbering system for stamp shapes is also included for easy reference purposes.

Wireless LAN Connectivity

The Aveneer EV1 connects to your wireless network for seamless file transfer. The My Connection Feature sends files back and forth between the Aveneer EV1 and select ScanNCut DX machines. The free Design Database Transfer software allows the transfer of embroidery designs from your PC directly to the machine — no USB or cables required.

 

Artspira Mobile App

The Artspira Mobile App unlocks seven bonus designs and three in-the-hoop projects exclusive to Aveneer owners. Create unique designs by taking your drawings to stitches on a mobile device or tablet. The Drawing Tool feature includes single and zigzag stitch options, shapes, and templates. With Artspira’s augmented reality feature, preview how embroidery designs will appear on finished garments before you ever thread the needle.
