class- Help Me!... Machine Basics May 2026

Do you want to learn to sew and have no idea how to use the sewing machine you were given, bought, or found buried in the closet.
Can you wind a bobbin or thread the machine?
Do you know what the machine parts are called?
Know what those buttons or knobs are for?
Needles…when & how do I change one?
Why does my thread or needle keep breaking?
Did the machine eat your fabric on the first stitch?
What do I do with all these strange things they call feet?
That machine is crazy, it goes too fast, and doesn’t go straight.
If any one of the above items have happened to you, YOU need this class.
Let Barb White, a retired Home Economics teacher, help you feel COMFORTABLE using your sewing machine. Any make or brand.
