Quilt Binding Class Supply List

Supplies/Materials Required for Class

Sewing Machine with electrical cord and owner’s manual

Bobbins (2) for your machine

WALKING FOOT for your machine

 For Fabric Prep – Spray starch or Magic Sizing

Rotary Cutter and mat

Rulers: Preferred ruler is the Stripology ruler

Sewing machine needles size 80/12

Thread – neutral grey or a color to match fabric selection

Wonder clips or pins

Fabric marking pen or a sharpened “regular” #2 pencil 

Tape measure

Seam ripper

Scissors

Pen and paper for taking notes

Fabric Requirements 

A quilt you need to bind that has been sandwiched/ quilted and ready for binding   OR

Table runner or small project that needs bound. MUST BE SANDWICHED & QUILTED OR

2 FAT Qtrs.  that have been sandwiched  and stitched  together  

½ yd fabric for your binding 

(this will make 7 strips or about  a length of 290 inches if your fabric was 42-44 in. wide)
